Strategic Development Group President Addresses Southeast US Japan Conference in Tokyo, Japan

Mark Williams, President of Strategic Development Group, Inc., a Columbia-based professional site location firm, addressed business and government leaders from Japan and the United States in Tokyo, Japan at the 39th Annual Joint Meeting of the Southeast US Japan (SEUS/Japan) conference today.  The conference brought together hundreds of senior-level executives from major Japanese corporations and seven states in the Southeast US to explore business opportunities between the two countries.

 

Mr. Williams’ presentation focused on opportunities for Japanese investment in the Southeastern US and impacts of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) on Japanese investment in the Southeastern US.   Strategic Development Group, Inc. has sited projects for Japan-based clients with capital investment totaling over $1.5 billion in the Southeast during the last five years.
